Naseer TURKMANI (born in 1990 in Afghanistan) Self trained photographer. Naseer has participated in some short workshops of photography including: 

  • 2010: Three months photojournalism workshop - 3rd eye photojournalism center, Kabul-Afghanistan.
  • 2012: Two weeks master class of photography workshop by Jan Grarup, Kabul-Afghanistan.
  • 2013: Ten days of contemporary art workshop by Lorenzo Tugnoli (Contemporary Photography), Dr. Francesca Recchia (Contemporary Art) Kabul-Afghanistan.
  • 2016: Ten days of Dacumentary Photography workshop by David Bathgate, Kabul-Afghanistan.

He uses photography as one of his main mediums to address the issues of politics, personal and collective identity.
His works have been displayed in Afghanistan, and internationally at the Munch Gallery (New York), Spazio Reale Gallery (Switzerland), Etihad Modern Art Gallery (UAE), Niawran Cultural complex (Tehran), Pavillon Carré de Baudouin museum (Paris), Aubrac Photo Festival 2022, and Art Academy (London). In addition, he has had two solo photo exhibitions at the French Cultural Institute in Kabul. Naseer has worked as instructor in Kabul University— department of fine arts.
